Below you will find the most recent work of Hannah Marie Fonder
Kelsey Thompson is a current Art History major at King's College NYC. A former company member of Ballet Magnificat, Thompson has many talents to offer to the world. One of them being photography. Thompson is currently taking a film class where she was assigned to take a portrait session and capture the person's aesthetic. Fonder was thoroughly impressed by the images, and the entirety of the collection can be viewed in the Past Work section of this website.
Fonder most recently worked as an Equity artist in the East Village at the Connelly Theatre. Under the direction of Palina Jonisdottir, Babette's Feast followed the story of an immigrant chef who changes the isolated and repressed town of Berlevag for the better. Based off of Karen Blixen's Icelandic tale, Fonder played the leading role of Phillipa. To see stills of the production, check out the Past Work Section of this website.
Fonder's latest work was based loosely off of a monologue featured in the Chicago based Neofuturist's prodcution of Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind and set to Ella Fitzgerald and Louie Armstrong's cover of Dream A Little Dream of Me. The physical theatre piece directed, choreographed, written, and conceptualized by Fonder premiered at The Tank in midtown along with other new works. The piece featured NY artists: Luke Holback, Anneliese Neilson, and Michael Bishop. Video footage from the piece can be viewed on the Video/Reel section of this website.
